RICEVILLE, IOWA - Services for Harry D. Minor, 64, who died Monday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage will be at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Congregational Church, burial in the Riverside Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Owanna; two daughters Mrs. Dale Lenth of Riceville and Mrs. Harold Scott of Des Moines; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Glendon of Sun City, Arizona; and one sister, Mrs Alvin Strettz of Bismarck, North Dakota.

Chisholm Funeral Home in charge.

FUNERAL SERVICES
THURSDAY FOR
HARRY MINOR, 64

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 14, 1971, in the Congregational church of Riceville for Harry Douglas Minor, 64, who passed away in the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage on Monday, January 11, 1971. The Rev. J. Gilbert will officiate at the services.

Mr. Minor was born on November 1, 1906, at Riceville, Iowa, the son of Bert and Alta Minor. He had been engaged in farming.

He is survived by his wife, Owanna, Riceville; two daughters, Mrs. Dale (Barbara) Lenth, Riceville, Mrs. Harold (Margaret) Scott of Des Moines, Iowa; ten grandchildren; one brother Glendon Minor of Sun City, Arizona; one sister, Mrs. Alvin (Vee) Strutz of Bismarck, North Dakota; one aunt, Mrs. Inez Gooder of Wayzata, Minnesota, and nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

RITES HELD FOR
HARRY MINOR, 64

Funeral services were held last Thursday at the Congregational church in Riceville for Harry Minor, 64, who died January 11, 1971, at Mitchell County Memorial hospital in Osage. Chisholm Funeral Home made the arrangements and Pastor J. Gilbert was in charge of the services.

Mr. Minor's death was caused by a heart attack.

Harry D. Minor was born on November 1, 1906, at Riceville, Iowa, the son of Bert L. and Alta Jane Harrison Minor. He attended the rural Stone school and was graduated from high school in Ricewville.

Owanna Benson and Harry Minor were united in marriage on November 5, 1927. They farmed in Jenkins township, remaining on the farm after retirement.

Mr. Minor was president of the school board at the Stone school for many years, and was a member and past president of the Little Cedar Co-op Elevator.

Surviving are his wife, Owanna; two daughters, Mrs. Dale Lenth (Barbara) of Riceville, Mrs. Harold Scott (Margaret) of Des Moines; Glendon Minor of Sun City, Arizona; one sister, Mrs. Alvin Strutz (Vee) of Bismarck, North Dakota; one aunt, Mrs. Inez Gooder of Wayzata, Minnesota, and nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
