OSAGE, IOWA — Services for Paul P. Kasel, 80, who died Tuesday at a nursing home in Osage, will be noon Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage; rosary at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Champion Funeral Home. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include six sons: John and Paul F. of Osage; Bill of Charles City, Eugene of Beloit, Wisconsin, Dan of Taopi, Minnesota, Ted of Ames; four daughters: Mrs. John Brumm of Mason City, Mrs. Richard Krause of Pine Island, Minnesota, Mrs. Dennis Kitt of Dennison and Carol Kasel of Minneapolis, Minnesota; 44 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, a brother, Joe of Charles City; three sisters: Mrs. Kate Stolzenberg of Stacyville, Mrs. Barbara Heimer of Grand Marais, Minnesota, Mrs. Helena Kirtz of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Mr. Kasel was a retired area farmer.

#3:RITES HELD FOR PAUL KASEL SR.
Funeral rites were held Thursday noon for an Osage man, Paul P. Kasel, 80, who died March 31, at th White House of Osage Nursing Home.
Rev. J. Roth was in charge of the mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and arrangements were by C.R. Champion and Sons. Burial was in the Church cemetery.
Paul Peter Kasel was born on June 9, 1900, at Taopi, Lodi township, Mower county, Minnesota, the son of Henry and Mary Kleckner kasel. he great to manhood in that area.
Ann Bodensteiner and Paul Kasel were married on October 3, 1928. They farmed in the Meyer and Adams area until retiring to Osage in 1962. he was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church.
Mrs. Kasel died in 1970. Others preceding him in death were his parents, two sisters, one brother and one grandson.
Survivors include four daughters: Mrs. John Brumm (Mary) of Mason City, Mrs. Richard Krause (Joan) of Pine Island, Minnesota, Mrs. Dennis Kitt (Barbara) of Denison and Carol Kasel of Minneapolis, six sons: John and Paul Kasel Jr., of Osage, William Kasel of Charles City, Eugene of Beloit, Wisconsin, Daniel of Taopi, Minnesota, Theodore Kasel of Ames; 43 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; three sisters: Mrs. Kate Stolzenberg of Stacyville, Mrs. Helena Kriz of Minneapolis, Mrs. Barbara Heimer of Grand Marais, Minnesota; and one brother, Joseph Kasel of Charles City.
