STACYVILLE, IOWA — Mrs. Claude Guffy, nee Anna Brown, died at Mercy Hospital at Kansas City, Mo., Saturday.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Brown of Stacyville.

She leaves her husband, Claude and one daughter, Beverly Jane; four sisters: Mrs. Paul Rietges, of Omaha, Neb.; Mrs. Gus Reid, of Des Moines; Mrs. Kenneth Olsen, of Wahoo, Neb., and Mrs. Roy Wageman, of Stacyville; two brothers, Carl, of Stacyville, and Walter, Spring Grove, Illinois.

Funeral here Tuesday.

Anna Marie (Brown) Guffey was born May 15, 1903, in Stacyville, Iowa. Her mother was Ida (Smith) Brown. Anna died September 19, 1942.

She had married Claude Timothy Guffey. He was born February 3, 1901 in Missouri and died May 29, 1985 in Iowa City.

Claude is buried in Marshalltown, Marshall county, Iowa, along with his second wife.

Anna is buried in Visitation Cemetery, Stacyville.
