MOUNTAIN HOME, ARKANSAS — Funeral services for Larry Joe Martin of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be private.
Larry passed away September 14, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 61. He was born November 20, 1951, in Hayti, Missouri, the son of Joe and Velma Cooper Martin.
Larry lived in Mountain Home since moving from Mitchell, Iowa, in 2006. He was a very avid fisherman, and enjoyed gardening, tinkering with cars, and being outdoors.
Larry is survived by his son, Scott Martin of West Plains, Mo., daughter, Ashley (Kyle) Trytten of Mitchell, Iowa, four grandchildren, Nathan, Caleb, Memphis, and Aayden Martin, two sisters, Louise (Lee) Watson of Mountain Home, Ark., and Opal (Charles) Wensel of Gassville, Ark., and two brothers, Lonnie (Tammy) Martin of Gassville, Ark., and Lester Martin of Mountain Home, Ark.
He was preceded in death by parents and brother, Lawrence Martin.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or to the family.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
