SUICIDE
-----------
Oscar D. Andrews Takes His Own Life.
-----------
Last Saturday night word was brought to town of the suicide, by hanging, of Oscar D. Andrews, near the residence of his brother James Andrews, with whom he was living.

Early Sunday morning Coroner Fred Horton started for the scene of the suicide to investigate the matter.

Upon arriving there he summoned a jury and proceeded to inquire into the matter according to law.

The evidence produced the fact that the deceased had been insane and confined in an Iowa asylum for the past two years. That a short time ago the physicians thinking a change of climate would be beneficial, he was released and brought out here by his brother James Andrews who was caring for him.

On Thursday of last week he slipped away un-noticed, and as soon as his absence was noticed a search for him begun. The search was fruitless until Saturday when he was found suspended from a limb of a tree by a trunk strap which he had taken from the house. Upon hearing the evidence the jury returned the following verdict:

We, the coroner's jury duly impaneled, upon investigation and hearing the evidence, find that Oscar Degiteon Andrews, aged 44 years, came to his death by his own action by hanging himself to a tree with a strap, breaking his neck. We also find that the same was done while in a state of insanity.
