OBITUARY ELIZABETH WOLF
OF OSAGE DIEDFuneral services were held Monday morning for an Osage woman, Mrs. Elizabeth Wolf, 84, who died Sunday morning at Faith Home. Mrs. Wolf had been ill for several months. The Rev. Marvin Salz of Mason City and the Rev. John Purtell, Worthington, Iowa, nephews of Mrs. Wolf, were assisted by Rev. John Kessler and the Rev. Martin Pfab, pastors, in the services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Arrangements were by C. R. Champion and Sons and burial was in the Sacred Heart cemetery.
Elizabeth Salz was born June 30, 1886, in Lenore, Illinois, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Roth Salz, Sr. Martin Wolf and Elizabeth Salz were married November 28, 1907, in Stacyville. She was a member of Sacred Heart church in Osage.
Surviving are five sons, Joseph of St. Paul, Fred of LeSueur, Minnesota, Leonard of Albert Lea, Albert and George of Lancaster, California, three daughters, Mrs. Tony Seckar (Catherine) of Osage, Mrs. Andrew Miller (Ann) of St. Peter, Minnesota, and Sister Marlene of Denver, Colorado; 29 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; two brothers, William Salz of Amboy, Illinois, and Peter Salz of Stacyville; seven sisters, Mrs. Isidor Weber (Catherine) of Osage, Sister Bernardine of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Anton Derner of St. Peter, Minnesota, Mrs. John Purtell (Lena), Mrs. William Hynes (Agnes), Mrs. Delphin Burmm (Rose) of New Hampton, and Matilda Salz of Ames.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother, one sister, her parents and an infant daughter.
