SERVICES FRIDAY FOR
BURTON L. DUNCOMB

Funeral services for Burton Lee (Burt) Duncomb will be held at 2 p.m. at the methodist Church in Riceville on Friday, June 16, 1978, with Rev. D. Perschall officiating.

Mr. Douncomb passed away at his home in Branson, Missouri on Monday, June 12, 1978.

He was born on March 15, 1909 at Riceville, Iowa, the son of William and Sarah Jane Duncomb. He attended the Riceville Schools and graduated from high school with the class of 1927.

He was united in marriage to Margaret Kelsey at the Congregational Church at Tripoli, Iowa, on October 7, 1934, and to this union, one son, Duane was born.

He entered the armed forces in 194_, serving 3 1/2 years, two of them in Hawaii. He was employed by the Farmers Telephone Company of Riceville for many years.

In 1975, following retirement, Burt and his wife moved to Branson, Missouri to make their home.

He was preceded in death by his son, Duane, in 1972; his wife, Margaret in October 1977, his parents, four sisters and six brothers.

Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Riceville, with the Conway Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
