OSAGE, IOWA — Services for Sophia Roethler, 82, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Osage; burial in Osage Cemetery; she died of natural causes on Sunday, January 3, 1988, at Maple Manor Nursing Home, Osage.
Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Martin of Charles City and Veronica Katcher of Cazenovia, Wisconsin; six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Joseph Stricherz and Killian Stricherz, both of Watertown, South Dakota, and Leo Stricherz of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund, in 1985; and ten brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at Champion Funeral Home, Osage, where a rosary will be at 3 p.m. today.
