Osage, Iowa — Agnes Lucille Rodemaker, 91, of Osage, died Monday, June 17, 2013, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 20, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Osage with the Rev. Bryan Lagerstam and the Rev. Roy Ott officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.
Please note the change in visitation time from the initial obituary: Visitation will be from 4 to 7:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, at Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.

Agnes Lucille Rodemaker, age 91, of Osage, died Monday, June 17, 2013, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Osage with Rev. Bryan Lagerstam and Rev. Roy Ott officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery. Please note the change in visitation time from the initial obituary: Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.
Lucille was born November 21, 1921, in rural Cresco, Iowa, the daughter of Jess and Jesse (Smith) Bonnette. After graduating from Cresco High School, she moved to Osage where she worked at Brown’s DX/Café and at the Cedar Valley Produce. She was united in marriage to Rolland Rodemaker on July 6, 1945, in Mason City. To this union three sons were born. Lucille and Rolland lived in Osage their entire married life. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Lucille enjoyed reading, quilting, gardening and cooking. She also enjoyed crocheting butterflies for Our Savior’s Lutheran Church’s Easter service and knitting baby hats for the hospital. Lucille loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lucille is survived by her three sons, Dale (Pat) Rodemaker of Osage, Jim (Twyla) Rodemaker of Osage, David (Debbie) Rodemaker of Mason City; four grandchildren, Shelley Patterson, Ron Rodemaker, Jennifer (Doug) Thurnau, and Lyndsy Rodemaker; seven great-grandchildren, Xavier Patterson, Riley, Abbi and Brady Rodemaker, Zackary, Jaida and Maci Thurnau; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rolland in 1996; two sisters, Edna Mae Grimm and Bonita Erbe; and four brothers, Ralph, Kenneth, Floyd and Clyde Bonnette.
