Lorayn (Richsmann) Fink
Our mom Lorayn passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013, her two children holding her close.
She is survived by daughter, Becky Fink, Coon Rapids, Minn. (husband Don Sommer, son Michael), son Bill Fink, Fridley, Minn. (Jeremy Fink, Krysta Wyvell-Fink, great-grandchildren Grace and Grant Fink) and grandchildren (Billy and Holly Fink). Brother Allan Richsmann and sister Cindy Richsmann Rychner along with their own children also survive. As a family with as many extended members as those immediate, she is survived by nieces and nephews and many people near and dear.
Mom was born and raised in Osage by parents, Pappa (Roy Richsmann) who passed in 1976 and Grandma (Hilda Richsmann) in 1992. Mom moved to Minneapolis and made her home in Fridley and then Blaine, Minn.
All her life, mom made new friends and kept old friends like no other.
Mom's life of 83 years will be celebrated Saturday, March 9 at the First Congregational Church of Anoka, 1923 3rd Ave. 12 p.m. Visitation and Fellowship, 1 p.m. Celebration of Life and Memorial Service and 2 p.m. for breaking bread together and sharing in mom's most favorite foods. Mom loved a little bling. Those joining us are invited wear a little bling. Mom would just love it.

immediate, mom is survived by nieces and nephews and many people near and dear. Our dad Bill Fink, mom’s former husband preceded her passing two years ago. Although no longer married, they maintained a unique relationship and looked out for each other over the years.Mom’s parents Pappa (Roy Richsmann) passed in 1976 and Grandma (Hilda Richsmann) in 1992.
Mom was born in Osage Iowa in 1929 moved to Minneapolis, lived in Fridley and at last Blaine at Sterling House Assisted Living following a stroke just five years ago. Where she became a part of a new family who genuinely cared for and truly loved mom as did we.
It was the heart of her “girls” at Sterling made this life transition more possible. Indeed over time mom came to consider Sterling House her home. All her life, mom made new friends and kept old friends like no other.
