Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 21, 1986, at Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville for Kieth C. Adams, 59, a carpenter and salesman and a lifelong Stacyville resident.

He died on Sunday, October 19, 1986 at home, after a lengthy illness. Rev. C. Manternach officiated, and burial was in Visitation Cemetery, with military rites conducted by Stacyville American Legion Post.

Mr. Adams was born on August 14, 1927 at Stacyville, the son of Nicholas and Mary (Pint) Adams. He graduated from Visitation High School in 1946. On June 28, 1950, he married Anna Heinzerling at Stacyville. They lived in Stacyville.

Mr. Adams worked most of his life as a carpenter and was employed for a short time at Montgomery Ward in Mason City. In 1970 he became a salesman for Moorman Manufacturing Co., retiring in 1984.

He was a past Knight of Osage Knights of Columbus 4308, a member of Hale-Penney-Fuller American Legion Post 569 of Stacyville and a past commander of the post in 1973, county Legion commander in 1977 and a member of the VFW Post 7920 in Osage.

He is survived by his wife, Anna of Stacyville; a daughter, Mrs. Dan (Deborah) Gabrielson of Rochester, Minnesota; five sons: Tom of Winthrop, Tim of Stacyville, Dan of Fayetteville, N.C., Bob of Jesup, and Navy Airman Adrian Adams of Memphis, Tennessee; a sister, Mrs. Ben (Carmella) Indra of Osage; a brother, Bill of Stacyville; and seven grandchildren.
