Christoffer Christoffersen Goplerud was born December 11, 1830, at Goplerud, Hedalen, Valdres, Oppland, Norway to Christoffer Levorsen Goplerud and Guri Olsdatter Lindelien.
He married Kjersti Haraldsdatter Ormsrud on March 30, 1862 at Hedalen, Valdres, Oppland, Norway. The couple had three children while in Norway: Christoffer Jr; Harald and Guri.
The family emigrated 1867 to Dane, Wisconsin and while living there, Olina was born. 2 years later, the family moved to Rock township, Mitchell County, Iowa where 4 more children were born: Ingeborg, John, Anne Christine and Syver Godfred.
Family found in the 1880, 1885 censuses living at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa:
1880: C. C. Goplerud 49, Kgerstia Goplerud 43, Christopher Goplerud 17, Harald Goplerud 16, Julia Goplerud 14, Olina Goplerud 12, Ingeborg Goplerud 10, John Goplerud 9.
1885: Christopher C Goplerud 54, Kjeist Goplerud 48, Christopher Goplerud 22, Julia Goplerud 19, Olina Goplerud 17, Engelberg Goplerud 15, John Goplerud 14.
Found in the 1895 - 1920 censuses at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa:
1895: Christopher Goplerud age 64.
1900: Christopher Copeland 69, Kjistic Copeland 63, Olinna Copeland 32, John Copeland 29, Julia Field 34, Ida C Field 11.
1910: Christoffer Christoffersen Goplerud 79, Kjersti Haraldsdatter Ormsrud Goplerud 73, John Goplerud 39.
1915: C C GoplerulSenior 84.
1920: C C Goplerad 89, Kjerstie Goplerad 82, Guri Fjied 54.
Christoffer died in 1921 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa and was buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
