Henry Oscar Gisleson was born February 21, 1876 at Marion, Clayton, Iowa to Peter H. Gisleson and Kjersti Clara Olsdatter, the oldest of their six children.
Found in the 1895 census living at Marion, Clayton, Iowa: Henry O Gisleson age 18.
The family moved west to near Orchard, rural Floyd County, Iowa before 1900 and bought farmland. Henry was a farmer, he never married nor had children.
