ALBERT DUENOW DIES AT HOME; RITES SATURDAY
St. Ansgar – Funeral services will be conducted Saturday for Albert Duenow, 69, who died Wednesday morning from a heart attack at his home here.

Services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Toeterville. He has been a member of the church all of his life.

He was born east of St. Ansgar and farmed near here until 1952 when he retired and moved to town.

Survivors include his wife, son William, St. Ansgar; one grandson, two brothers and seven sisters.

Albert Carl Duenow was born in Mitchell County on November 21, 1887, the son of William Friedrich Duenow and Elizabeth (Wagner) Duenow.

He married Helen Lastine, the daughter of Ole Lastine and Emma (Stowe) Lastine.
