Shirley Marie (Gooder) Bemus – August 18, 1914 – September 2, 2003

Shirley G. Bemus, 89, of Boulder City died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born Aug. 18, 1914, in Riceville, Iowa. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired accounting clerk.
She is survived by one daughter, Carol Devlin of Norwood, Mass.; two sons, Jerry Bemus of Little Rock, Ark., and Michael Bemus of Henderson; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, handled arrangements.
Las Vegas Sun, Las Vegas, Nevada, Friday September 5, 2003

Shirley Marie Gooder was born August 18, 1914 in Mitchell County, Iowa, the daughter of Harry Willard Gooder and Anna Wilson.
She married Ray George Bemus, the son of Charles Leslie Bemus and Minnie Louise Marshall.
Shirley and Ray Bemus were buried in Oswegatchie Cemetery, Fine, St. Lawrence County, New York
