Mother of Leo Tonn
Died at Riceville Feb. 7Mrs. Poldi Tonn of Riceville, mother of Leo Tonn of Elma, was found dead in her home last Thursday morning, February 7, 1952. She had been ill for several days with a severe cold but this was not considered serious and she was apparently improving, so her death came as a great shock to the family.

Funeral services for the deceased were held Monday morning of this week at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Riceville, with interment in the church cemetery. Attending the services from Elma were: Mr. and Mrs. Leo Tonn, Marvin, Charlotte and Shirley, Max McGrane, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Shimel and daughter, Gloria.
Besides her son, Leo, Mrs. Tonn is also survived by four other sons: Albert of St. Paul, Minnesota, Amil, Eddie and Anton of Waterloo; and three daughters: Mrs. Bertha Wagner of Hollandale, Minnesota, Mrs. Sam Willner of Riceville and Mrs. Floyd Gilbrecht of Jerico.
