SERVICES HELD FOR
MRS. CLARA MOORE
TUESDAY AFTERNOON
Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Moore, 91, were held Tuesday afternoon, November 15, 1949, at the Champion Funeral HOme, with Rev. C. James and Rev. M. Thompson officiating. Burial was at Floyd, Iowa. Mrs. Moore died late Saturday in her home at Osage.
Clara Snyder was born at Floyd, Iowa, on February 28, 1858. most of her girlhood days were spent near Floyd and on January 19, 1879, she was united in marriage to Charles Phillip Moore. The couple lived near Floyd for over 25 years, and in 1937 moved to Osage.
Preceding Mrs. Moore in death were her husband and two sons. Since that time a daughter, Mrs. Lena Whitman, has made her home with her mother.
Surviving are her sister, Mrs. Newton Clark of Blaufouer, North Dakota; one daughter, Mrs. Whitman; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
