Raymond J. Hartkopp, 82, of Aurora, passed away on August 3, 2001 at his home.
He was born October 12, 1918 in Osage, IA. Raymond was a member of Sacred Heart Church, the Knights of Columbus, 4th degree, Marquette Assembly, Luxembourg Club, and the Phoenix Club. He bowled with the Knights of Columbus for many years and enjoyed golfing, camping, woodworking and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Hartkopp; his seven children, Virginia (Robert) Kramer of Marywood, IL, Richard (Patricia) Hartkopp of North Aurora, IL, Andrea (John) Ideran of Montgomery, IL, Russell Hartkopp of Aurora, IL, Ronald Hartkopp of Aurora, IL, Robert (Mary) Hartkopp of Oswego, IL, and Lisa (Daniel) Long of Sugar Grove, IL; 23 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Matilda M. (DeGeeter) and William A. Hartkopp; two brothers, Albert and Merlin Hartkopp; and a sister, Mary Mueting.
Funeral from THE DALEIDEN LAKE STREET MORTUARY will be Monday, August 6, 2001 at 9:30 a.m. to St. Therese Church at 10:00 a.m. Fr. J. Robert Camacho will officiate with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a liturgical wake service at 4:00 p.m. at THE DALEIDEN LAKE STREET MORTUARY, 220 N.
