90, DIED TUESDAYFuneral services for Mrs. Josephine Fox, 90, were held this morning (Thursday) at St. Peter's church at New Haven with the Rev. Leo Entringer officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery. Mrs. Fox died Tuesday morning at the home of her son, Matt, in New Haven.
Josephine Buese was born January 28, 1859,in Marshfield, Wisconsin, to Frank and Theresa Buese. She was united in marriage to Christian Fox in 1879 and they made their first home 4 1/2 miles east of New Haven.
In 1920 they moved to Riceville. Mrs. Fox returned to New Haven to make her home after the death of her husband in 1936.
Surviving are three sons, Matt of New Haven, Henry of Elma, and Gilbert of Von Hook, N. Dakota; four daughters: Mrs. Ellen Wagner and Mrs Herbert Michels of Osage, Mrs. Ida Burke of Mason City, and Mrs. Frank Marley of New Haven. There are also 40 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, frank, a daughter in infancy, three brothers and three sisters.
