St. Ansgar, Iowa - Diane K. Feldt, 64, of St. Ansgar, died Thursday, December 6, 2012, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, with the Rev. Dr. Byron Northwick officiating. Burial will be at St. Johns Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, at Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar. Visitation will also be one hour prior to service at the church.

St. Ansgar, Iowa - Diane K. Feldt, 64, died on December 6, 2012, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Hospice Unit, Osage, Iowa.

Funeral service will be on Monday, December 10, at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, with the Rev. Dr. Byron Northwick officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Rock Township, Mitchell County, Iowa. Visitation is scheduled for today, Sunday, December 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar.

Diane K. Mehmen Feldt was born on October 4, 1948, to Raymond Gus Mehmen and Dorothy Maxine Collings Mehmen at Waverly, Iowa. She attended a local country school, finishing in Plainfield schools, and continued her education at Tech school to become a surgical technician, graduating with honors.

On December 11, 1970, she married Charlie Feldt. To this union were born three children: Allen of Toeterville, Iowa, Sherry (Mike) Marr of Riceville, Iowa, and Ray (Kelly) of Orchard, Iowa. Diane spent most of her life in the medical field with a brief stint as a church secretary and part-time restoring woodworks. But her true passion was her family, especially the grandchildren.

Her hobbies were many and varied, from painting to cross stitch, sewing, crafts and cooking to anything outdoors such as hunting, fishing, camping and any other outside activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Diane is survived by husband, Charlie; sons, Allen Feldt and Ray (Kelly) Feldt; daughter, Sherry (Mike) Marr; grandchildren, Mitchel and Abby Marr; step-grandchild, Isabella Martin; brothers, Steve (Terri) Mehmen, Stan (Karmen) Mehmen; sister, Daleth (Dale) Pothast; and a great number of family and friends.
