Andrew (Endre) Pedersen Fjelde (Fjeld, Field) was born September 9, 1862 at the Ovre Fjelde farm, Strand, Rogaland, Norway to Peder Olsen Fjelde and Martha Larsdatter, the fifth of their eleven children.
Andrew emigrated to America with his parents, arriving at Quebec, Canada on May 21, 1872 on the ship Brodrene. Family in group: Peder Olsen Fjelde age 46, Martha Larsdatter age 38, son Ole 17, daughter Inger 19, daughter Bertha 15, son Edvard 12, son Endre 9, son Lars 6, daughter Martha 3, son Peder 1 month. (Emigration record can be found on Ancestry.com) The family traveled on to settle at Cedar township, Mitchell County, Iowa.
Found in the 1880, 1885 censuses living at Cedar, Mitchell, IA:
1880: Peter Field 57, Martha Field 50, Ole Field 25, Edward Field 19, Andrew Field 17, Lars Field 15, Martha Field 10, Emalia Field 6, Peter Field 3.
1885: Peter O Tjelde 60, Martha Tjelde 57, Edward Tjelde 24, Andrew Tjelde 22, Louis Tjelde 18, Martha Tjelde 16, Amelia Tjelde 11, Peter Tjelde 8.
Andrew became a naturalized citizen October 17, 1884.
He married Ingeborg Christoffersdatter in 1894 at Mitchell County, Iowa, probably at Meroa. (Ingeborg Christoffersdatter Goplerud born May 9, 1869 Rock, Mitchell, Iowa, died January 22, 1951 Greencastle, Putnam, Indiana).
Their children:
Martha Pearna Christina (born December 18, 1895 Rock, Mitchell, Iowa) and
Edgar Fjelde (born 1903 Rock, Mitchell, Iowa).

Found in the 1920 census at Osage, Mitchell, IA: Andrew Fjelde 57, Ingeborg Fjelde 50, Martha Fjelde 24, Edgor Fjelde 17.
Found in the 1925, 1930 censuses at Manns, Stutsman, North Dakota:
1925: Andrew Fjelde age 62, Ingeborg Fjelde 55, Edgar Fjelde 22.
1930: Andrew P Fjelde 67, Ingeborg Fjelde 60, Edgar Fjelde 27.
Andrew died April 20, 1934 in USA and was buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
