Riceville, Iowa - William F. Brownlow, 70, of Riceville, died Thursday, November 29, 2012, at the Stacyville Community Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Dec. 3, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Riceville, with the Rev. Michael Parris officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Riceville.

Friends may call Sunday Dec. 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville and one hour before services on Monday at the church.

Obituary:
William F. Brownlow, 70, of Riceville, Iowa passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the Stacyville Community Nursing Home.

William F. Brownlow was born on February 26, 1942 in Kasson, Minnesota to Joseph P. and Frankie A. (Cooper) Brownlow. He graduated from Riceville High School in 1962. Bill served in the Army National Guard of Iowa.

Bill was united in marriage to Darlene A. Schaumburg at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Elma, Iowa, on June 18, 1966. William worked for Oliver Farm Equipment Company for two years while he and Darlene began farming and raising livestock up until his retirement. William's hobbies included fishing, restoring antique tractors, tractor pulling and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was an active member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Riceville.

Survivors include his wife Darlene, of Riceville; son Raymond of Clear Lake; grandson, Mathew; son Brian (Jennifer) of Columbus, Nebraska; grandchildren Emma and Kaden; daughter Christine McVicker of Hastings, Nebraska; grandchildren Zane, Ashlee and Pierce; daughter Denise (Jeff) Cottingham of Gothenburg, Nebraska; granddaughter Whitney; and brother Warren (Margie) Brownlow of Cairo, Georgia.

William is proceeded in death by his parents, Joseph and Frankie Brownlow; brother, Gerald Brownlow; and sister, Vivian Gregory.

Visitation:
Friends may call Sunday December 2 from 4-7 PM at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville and one hour before services on Monday at the church.

Service:
Funeral services will be held on Monday December 3, 2012 at 10:30 AM at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Riceville, Iowa.
