Gunhild (Julia) Hendriksdatter​ Fitjker (Fekjaer) was born September 20,​ 1838 at Hedalen, Valdres​, Norway. She emigrated to Wisconsin in 1861.

Gunhild married Knut​ Andersen Lundene on Marc​h 29, 1868 at Springda​l, Mount Horeb, Dane, ​Wiscsonsin. The couple had four Children:
​Andrew Knudsen (born September 3, 1869 Wisconsin, died after 1916);

Henrik George (born July 2, 1874 Floyd, Iowa, died July 18, 1897 Iowa);

Orenton Amelius (born May 25, 1876 Floyd, Iowa, died July 18, 1897 Iowa);

Gyda​ Otilia (born January 11, 1878 Floyd, Iowa, died September 15, 1879 Floyd, Iowa).

Found in the 1880 census living at Springdal, Dane, Wisconsin: Knud A. Lundene 36, Gumeld Lundene 41, Andrew Lundene 10, Henry Geo. Lundene 5, Orinton Lundene 4.

Family found in the 1895 to 1910 censuses living north of Rudd, Floyd, Iowa:
1895: Julia Lundene age 56.

1900: Kurt O. Lundene 32, Julia H. Lundene 61, Andrew K. Lundene 30.

1905: Julia Lundene

1910: Knut Andersen Lundene 66, Gunhild Hendriksdatter Fitjker Lundene 72[78], Andrew Knudsen Lundene 40.

Gunhild died March 18​, 1913 north of Rudd, Floyd, Iowa and was buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church C​emetery, Meroa, Cedar,​ Mitchell, Iowa.
