Christian (Sievert) Fagrebakken Pedersen (also known as Christian Pedersen Fagre) was born February 1, 1878 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Ingeborg Anna Svendsen and Hans Pedersen Fagrebakken, the second of their three children. Christian had an older sister Nettie (born 1875), a younger brother, Peder Leonard (born 1879) and two older half-brothers: Theodore Fagre (born December 30 1869) and Nicholai (born January 29, 1871) (Theodore and Nic's father was Nils, a brother of Christian's father, Hans).

Found Christian in the 1880 & 1885 censuses living at Cedar township, Mitchell County, Iowa: Hans Peterson 42, Isabela Peterson 42, Theadore Peterson 10, Nicolaus Peterson 9, Nette Peterson 5, Sievert Peterson 2 (this would be Christian), Peter Peterson 8m, Levan Paulson 75, Carrie Paulson 72 (Ingeborg's parents).

1885: Hans Peterson 43, Isabelle Peterson 43, Theodore Peterson 15, Nicolas Peterson 13, Mary Peterson 9 (Nellie), Christian Peterson 6, Peter Peterson 5.

Found in the 1900, 1905 censuses living at Blooming Prairie, Steele, Minnesota:
1900: Theodore P Fagre 30, Anna Fagre 35, Christian Fagre 22, Peter Fagre 20, Ingeborg Fagre 58.

Christian married Emma Melvina Easton at Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, on March 2, 1909, the couple had 7 children.

Found in the 1910 census living at Souris, Bottineau, North Dakota: Christian Pedersen Fagre 32, Emma Fagre 29, Edwin Fagre 0,[3/12], Ingeborg Anna Bentson Fagre 67 (mother), Peter Leonard Pedersen Fagre 30 (brother), Georgiana Easton 25.

Found in the 1920 census at Bertha, Todd, Minnesota: Christian P. Fagre 41, Emma M. Fagre 38, Edwin H. Fagre 9, Irene M. Fagre 8, Elma C. Fagre 5, Pearl E. Fagre 3,[3 6/12], Oswald P. Fagre 0 (7 months).

Found in the 1930 census at Westfield, Dodge, Minn.: Christian P Fagre 52, Emna M. Fagre 48, Edwin H. Fagre 20, Irene M. Fagre 18, Alma C. Fagre 16, Pearl E. Fagre 13, Oswal P Fagre 11, Leonard M. Fagre 8, Irean B. Fagre 5.

Found in the 1940 census at Owatanna, Steele, Minnesota: Christian P. Fagre 62, Emma M. Fagre 58, Edwin H. Fagre 30, Elma C. Fagre 26, Leonard M. Fagre 18, Ivan B. Fagre 15.

Christian died January 7, 1963 at Steele, Minnesota and was buried at the Oaklawn Cemetery, Northfield, Rice, Minnesota.
