Funeral services for Grace A. Tollefson, 88, who died September 6, 1974 in San Jose, Calif., were held September 20 at the Schroeder & Dunn Funeral Home with the Rev. S. Engelstad officiating. Funeral services were also held in San Jose September 9. Burial was in the First Lutheran cemetery here with Rev. Engelstad in charge of committal services.

Grace A. Tollefson was born October 16, 1885 on a farm in St. Ansgar, the daughter of Andrew and Margit Roe Tollefson. She was baptized December 13, 1885 by the Rev. Johann Olsen and confirmed June 10, 1900 at First Lutheran church by Rev. Olsen.

Grace attended rural Clyde school and St. Ansgar Seminary and after graduating taught school in the local area before moving to St. Paul, Minn. to enter clerical and office employment school and remained until 1924 when she moved to San Jose, Calif.

Miss Tollefson was in St. Ansgar on the occasion of the Centennial of First Lutheran church in 1964. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ruth Michelson of San Jose, Calif. Also two nephews, Carl Carlson of Stockton, Calif. and Dr. Arthur Solheim of Minneapolis, Minn.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, Arthur; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Solheim and Miss Mary Tollefson.
