Funeral services were held June 1, 1990 at First Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, for Mrs. Harold (Grace) Tabbert, 78 of St. Ansgar. Rev. Robert Porisch officiated and burial was in First Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar. She died May 29, 1990 at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, Osage.

Grace Sophia Anna Kroneman was born to Emil and Maria Neumann Kronemann, December 19, 1911. She was baptized January 28, 1912 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Rock Creek, east of Grafton by Pastor G. Bischoff. She was confirmed May 29, 1927 at the same church by Pastor John Gemaelich. She attended Rock #6 rural school and Grafton High School.

On May 8, 1937 she married Harold Tabbert. They lived near Grafton, Plymouth and Rockford and in 1950 they moved to a farm near Otranto. In 1987 they moved and retired to St. Ansgar.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church and was active in church women's work, Lutheran relief projects, and was Stewardship secretary and circle leader for more than 20 years.

Preceding her in death were her daughter, Loretta, her parents, and one sister, Mrs. Clarence (Laura) Wilde.

Survivors include her husband, Harold, of St. Ansgar, a son, Russell and wife, Barbara and granddaughters, Sara and Jean of Fairbanks, Alaska, a son-in-law, Jerome Kleven of North St. Paul, MN, granddaughters, Mary and Kristi, two sisters, Mrs. Leroy (Myrtle) Miller of St. Ansgar and Mrs. Justin (Clara) Ones of rural Osage, five brothers, Alvin and Lloyd of St. Ansgar, George and Reuben of Osage, and Glenn Kroneman of Carpenter, and many nieces and nephews.
