Lars Dynna Larson was born April 24, 1878, at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa to Anders Larson Dynna and Anna Hansdatter Bilden, the fifth of their seven children. He was baptized June 2, 1878 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. His baptismal sponsors were: Torgrim Nelson & wife; Hans Knudsen, Lisa Knudsen.
Lars died June 1, 1880 at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa and is buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
The 1880 census mortality schedule says cause of death was "fits". Lars was counted in the 1880 census at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa: Andrew Larson 43, Anna Larson 36, Mary L. Larson 11, Lena Larson 9, Hannah Larson 7, Andrena Larson 4, Lars L. Larson 1.
