Dies at Osage
OSAGE, IOWA — William Schweiger, 65, was found dead Wednesday morning at the East End cabins.
A retired farmer, he was employed by the Farmers Inn in Osage, and lived at the cabins. When he did not come to work at 7:30, Robert Richsmann, a friend, went to investigate.
Dr. G. E. Krepelka, Mitchell County medical examiner, said death had occurred between 9 and, 10 Tuesday night and was caused by a heart condition.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Champion Funeral Home. Rites will be held at Sacred Heart Church here.
A lifetime resident of Mitchell County, he is survived by three sons, Englebert and Donald, both Osage; Dr. James Schweiger, Iowa City; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mary Ann) Heimer, Mitchell; 11 grandchildren, a great-grandchild, a brother, Mense Schweiger, Osage; five sisters: Mrs. Glen Buckley, Mrs. Roy Steppler, both of North Dakota; Mrs. Harold Sullivan, Osage; Mrs. Ed Miller, Spearfish, South Dakota; and Sr. Mary Ignatius, Oelwein.
