Herbert Clifford Stickney – July 5, 1917 – July 9, 1998
HERBERT STICKNEY SERVICES HELD JULY 11
A memorial service at the family home in Folsom, California was held Saturday, July 11, for Herbert (Herb) Clifford Stickney who passed away at his home on July 9, 1998, at the age of 81.
Herb was born July 5, 1917, in Waverly Iowa to Clifford and Elna (Fehling) Stickney. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Herb attended school in Osage, Iowa.
On June 5, 1937, he married Beulah Knutson. Six children were born from this union.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Bea of Folsom, California, his children, Juleinne Turner and her husband Albert of Gardnerville, Nevada; Barbara Stuart of South Lake Tahoe, California; Anthony Stickney and his wife Carmen of San Diego, California; Deborah Stickney of Toeterville, Iowa; two sisters, Hila Judas and her husband Loren of Mankato, Minnesota, and Dorothy Hogan of Mankato, Minnesota, 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, twin daughters, one grandson, and one great-grandson.
He was buried in the Osage Cemetery, Osage, Mitchell, Iowa
