Miss Anna M. Krebsbach
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 24, 1988 at Visitation Catholic Church, Stacyville, for Miss Anna M. Krebsbach, 94, of Stacyville. The Rev. Carl Manternach officiated and burial was in the church cemetery. She died Tuesday, March 22, 1988 at the Stacyville nursing home.
She was born July 29, 1893 in Stacyville, the daughter of Mathias and Mary (Hemann) Krebsbach. They later moved to Stuart and then returned to Stacyville.
As a young woman she worked as a telephone operator and she later attended beauty school in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Miss Krebsbach operated a beauty shop in her home for over 30 years, retiring in 1965.
In her spare time she cared for her flowers and enjoyed fishing.
Her four brothers and six sisters preceded her in death.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
