FRED FALTEISEK FUNERAL HELD
VETERAN IS GIVEN MILITARY HONORSRiceville – Funeral services were held Wednesday morning for Fred Falteisek who died Sunday night at the soldiers’ home in Knoxville, Marion Co, Iowa. Mass was sung by Father O’Sullivan of the Catholic Church.
Mr. Falteisek was a veteran of World War I and was buried with full military honors, with members of Roy Gue post in charge. Legion and Auxiliary members attended the funeral in a body.
One brother, Robert, and a niece and nephew survive.
