Caroline (Grovo) Teats – June 25, 1914 – April 28, 2005

OBITUARY-

Caroline Teats, age 90 formerly of Austin, died Thursday, April 28, 2005, at Regina Nursing Home in Hastings.

She was born on June 25, 1914 to Theodore and Minnie (Traaseth) Grovo in St. Ansgar, Iowa.

She married Cleo C. Teats, and they raised four children. They lived in Washington, Montana, Idaho, Minnesota, Arizona, New Mexico and Oklahoma but claimed Austin as their home from 1942 until 1971.

Survivors include two sons, George (Lucille) Teats, West St. Paul, Minn.; Phillip "Hank" (Kathy) Teats, Hastings; daughter, Norma Lange, Fayetteville, PA; fourteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cleo; five brothers and a daughter, Joann.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at Worlein Funeral Home Austin with Rev. Russell Wangen officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment is at Oakwood Cemetery Austin.
