Arndt Dies: Pneumonia

David Lee Arndt, infant son of Edward Arndt and wife Leona, need Flugge, was born July 27, 1948. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith September 19, 1948. Last Thursday morning he took sick with pneumonia. He was taken to the Mercy Hospital at Mason City, where he passed away the following morning, November 5, at the age of three months and eight days.

Funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Walter Schroeder, Sunday afternoon, November 7 beginning at 1:30 o'clock, in his grandparent's, the Flugge home, near Elma, and continued in St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Riceville. Mrs. Ansgar Christensen and Miss Berdean Christensen sang: "Tender Shepherd, Thou Hast Stilled" accompanied by Miss Lois Schroeder, organist.

Interment was made in Riverside Cemetery in Riceville.

He leaves to mourn his parents, brother, James, and sister, Margaret Ann.
