ELIZABETH MOSS DIED AT 86; RITES WEDNESDAY
Riceville – Mrs. Elizabeth S. Moss, 86, died Sunday at the Riceville City Hospital. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Congregational Church. The Rev. Norman Halliday will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery with Chisholm Funeral Home in charge.
Born October 13, 1875, she was the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Lockie. She was a lifelong resident of Riceville.
Surviving are a son, Glenn, Riceville; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters; Mrs. Victor (Della) Morrow, LeRoy, Minnesota; Mrs. Charlie (Edith) Wall, West St. Paul, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, three brothers and two sisters.

Elizabeth Shauks Lockie was born October 13, 1875 in Iowa, the daughter of Robert Lockie and Elizabeth (Stephenson) Lockie. She married Harry Aaaron Moss, the son of Edward N. Moss and Margaret Elmira (Boor) Moss.
Note* Her middle name is from a birth record for her son Robert Edward Moss, who preceded her in death. The other son Glenn mentioned in the obit was born John Glenn Moss.
