MRS. LULU THORNBURG DEAD
Mrs. Lulu Thornburg passed away at her home late yesterday afternoon after an illness that has extended over several years. She suffered a stroke of paralysis about three years ago, but recovered and was about as usual, although in a weakened condition. A month ago she suffered another shock, and several have followed. She had an unusually rugged constitution, and endured more than the ordinary sufferer.
Her husband, William Thornburg, was a prominent contactor, and she was for many years in the millinery business here and both had a wide circle of friends in this vicinity.
She is survived by only a sister and a brother, Mrs. Walter Griffin, McIntire, and Arthur Billmeyer, of Fargo, North Dakota.
She was 60 years of age the 23rd of last November.
Funeral services will probably be held from her home Friday afternoon, in charge of the Rev. W. T. Smith, and interment made beside her husband in the Osage Cemetery.
