BURIED SATURDAYYOUNG MOTHER LEAVES SIX
LITTLE CHILDREN -- WAS
BURIED SATURDAY AFTERNOONA death that has deprived six little children of their mother's care was that of Mrs. Charles Nicholson, who passed away after a brief illness at her farm home December 4, 1924. She was 29 years of age.
Mrs. Nicholson was a conscientious loving mother, and had a wide circle of friends among whom her going leaves a void.
Florence May Cummings was born November 12, 1895, and was brought up in the Myron Cummings family. She has resided near and around osage most of her life, and soon after leaving school was married to Charles Nicholson, July 3, 1912.
To this union were born seven children, one preceding her in death in infancy a year ago. Besides the children and her husband, she leaves to mourn her loss her father, three sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Rachel Coonradt, Mrs. Eva McNerney, Mrs. Hazel Phillips, Charles Cummings, David Hedges and William Hedges.
She was united with the Methodist church at Pleasant Valley, Iowa, at an early age, and always was interested in the welfare of her church and community.
Burial was from the Congreational church on Saturday at 2:30 o'clock, with services conducted by the pastor, Rev. J. Walker, and interment was made in the local cemetery.
