Funeral services were held on Monday, September 17 at St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Osage, for Luella Hartwig, 84, who died Friday, September 14 at Faith Home in Osage.
Vicar Gary Ruckman officiated at the service and burial was in Calvary Cemetery, rural Osage. Champion Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Luella Hartwig was born on May 16, 1900, the daughter of Henry and Anna Buckman Morische, in Floyd County.
She was united in marriage on June 24, 1925 to Lawrence Hartwig at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Osage.
Luella was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Lois) Wangen, Hartland, Minnesota; one son Wilmer, Osage; three grandchildren; one sister, Elsie Troge, Charles City; and by one brother, Elmer Morische, Osage.
