Riceville -- Services for Leon Linda, 79, who died Monday evening at the Riceville Nursing Home, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Methodist Church in Riceville Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery

He is survived by his widow, Dena; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Weldin of Osage and Mrs. Richard (Lois) Casberg of Waterloo; a son Rex of Riceville; a brother, Wilbur of Riceville; five grandchildren; Chisholm Funeral Home in charge.

Leon A Linda was born May 29, 1890 in Mitchell Co., Iowa, the son of Augustus Linda and Adella Strowbridge. He married Albertina “Dena” Erbe.
