Funeral services were held on Monday morning at Immaculate Conception Church, Riceville, for Mrs. Ellen Wagner, 98, who died on Thursday, June 7, at a Riceville nursing home.
Rev. G. Hemesath officiated at the service, and burial was in the Calvary Cemetery in Riceville. Conway Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wagner was raised in Howard and Mitchell counties.
Survivors include two daughters, Gladys Jacobus and Agnes Anderson, both of Riceville; three sons: Glen and Robert, both of Riceville, and Leonard, Waterloo; 18 grandchildren; and three sisters: Verona Michels, Winnie Marley and Ida Burke, all residents at Faith Home in Osage.
