Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 2, 1984, at Sacred Heart Church in Osage, for Helena Pint, 80, a longtime Osage resident who died on Thursday, May 31, 1984 at her home. Rev. J. Roth officiated and burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Champion Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Helena was born on March 9, 1904 in Mitchell County, Iowa, the daughter of Herman and Bertha Zarling Koschmeder.
She was united in marriage on November 26, 1925 to Lawrence Pint.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Kenneth; her parents; four brothers, George, Ray, Eddie and Alfred, and five sisters: Matie, Josie, Francis, Elma and Doras.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Kay Cahill of Mason City; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Bertilla Pint of Osage; ten grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Petznick and Mrs. Julia Muller, both of Osage, and Mrs. Arnold (Harriet) Loftus, Waseca, Minnesota.
