Funeral services for Mildred Brown, of Riceville, a former cook in various Riceville cafes, were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church, Riceville. She died on Tuesday, May 15, 1984, at a St. Ansgar nursing home.
The Rev. Lanny Carlson officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Riceville, Mitchell county, Iowa.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Margerie Prochaska, Cedar Rapids, and several nieces and nephews.
