OSAGE, IOWA - Dec. 31. — B. E. Colby, for many years a grain and coal merchant here, died Saturday at the age of 75 years.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter: Lloyd, Stanley and Hattie.

Mrs. Colby died three years ago.

Mr. Colby was born on April 1, 1853, in Randolph, Wisconsin.

He retired from business a few years ago.
