Lise (Lizzie) Anderson was born August 14, 1894 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to John Gerhard Anderson and Karen Gudbrandsdatter Liaeker, the fourth of five children. Her siblings were: Gustave Johann (1886-1918); Gina Louise (1888-1908); Julius (1891-1979) and Anders (1896-1976) (search this website for their obituaries).

Lise was baptized November 18, 1894 at Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa; her baptismal sponsors were John Olsen & wife; Sevald Sorenson; Clara Nilsen. Lise was confirmed at same church on June 6, 1909.

Found Lise (or Lizzie) in the 1900 through 1930 censuses living at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1900: John G. Anderson 40, Karn Anderson 41, Gustav Anderson 14, Gina L. Anderson 11, Julijns Anderson 9, Lise Anderson 5, Anders Anderson 3, Gulber Licker 71.

1910: John G. Anderson 50, Karen Anderson 51, Gustave Anderson 24, Julius Anderson 19, Lizzie Anderson 15, Andrew Anderson 13, Gulljar Larson 81.

1920: Julius Anderson 28, Andrew Anderson 23, Lizzie Anderson 25, Karen Anderson 61.

1925: Julius Anderson 34, Lizzie Anderson 30, Karen Anderson 60 (error, should be 66).

1930: Karen Anderson 71, Lizzie Anderson 35, Earl Kinney 18.

Lise Anderson died on October 24, 1954 at Mitchell County, Iowa and was buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
