OSAGE — Anna Beckner Goplerud, 94, of Osage, died Friday, May 28, at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, Osage, of natural causes.

Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Levendusky of Mitchell; a son, Emmett Beckner of Crystal, Minnesota; a stepdaughter, Elfrieda Uzlik of St. Ansgar; a stepson, Kenneth Goplerud of St. Ansgar; and seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant son; two husbands; a brother; and two sisters.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Faith Lutheran Church, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, both in Mitchell. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Champion Funeral Home, Osage. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Anna C. Madsen was born December 27, 1898 in Freeborn County, Minnesota, the daughter of Hans Madsen and Christina Nielsen Madsen.

She married George Dean Beckner, the son of George Monroe Beckner and Mary Frances (Bates) Beckner. George Dean Beckner was born August 19, 1897 in South Dakota, and died July 17, 1960 In Osage, Mitchell, Iowa

After the death of her first husband, she married Christopher Gunerious Goplerud on November 10, 1964. Christopher Goplerud was born February 6, 1892 in Mitchell County, Iowa and died November 17, 1970 in Minnesota. His first wife was Theodora "Dora" Torblaa, who died June 3, 1962.
