Barbara Jean Frein
Barbara Jean, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Frein, was born at Stacyville, and passed away in St. Mary's hospital, Rochester, Minnesota, on Saturday, August 8, 1936.
Barbara Jean had been frail from birth, but until a week ago had gained, and her parents had hoped they could keep her with them. But God wanted another little angel so he took her, leaving a lonely home and aching hearts.
A short funeral service was held Sunday morning in Visitation church, Stacyville.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her father and mother and one brother, Verelyn; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Frein, and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. J.A. Morse, together with many other relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Frein took their baby to Rochester Friday evening where the best of doctors and nurses worked over her, but to no avail, and she passed away Saturday morning. She had only been in the home one short month, but had wound her little life so completely into the hearts of loving ones that the home is indeed lonely without her.
