BISHOP

Mr. John Bishop, aged 85 years, died yesterday morning at 8 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Archie McLaughlin in the Fourth ward. Mr. Bishop was one of the oldest settlers, having resided in Osage and in Mitchell county for the past forty years or more.

He was a brick mason and much of his handiwork is yet to be seen in many of the brick residences in Osage and vicinity. He was well known and a highly respected citizen. The funeral will occur from the M. E. church Saturday at 4 o'clock p.m.
