Joyce Kleen, 73, of Osage, formerly of Rudd, died Wednesday, May 4, 1994 at the Faith Home in Osage. Her funeral services were held at the Faith Home Chapel in Osage, with Rev. D. Hanson officiating. Champion Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
The body was donated to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, following the services.
Joyce Kleen was born on May 8, 1920 near Rudd.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlene Olswold and JoAnn Gerbig, both of Mason City; one son, Richard Kleen of New Hampton; two brothers, Raymond LaCoste of Rudd and Gilbert LaCoste of Charles City; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant daughter, an infant great-granddaughter; and one brother.

Joyce Wilma (LaCoste) Kleen, the daughter of William Frederick LaCoste and Emily May (Gallup) LaCoste.
Joyce married Louis Wilfred Kleen, the son of Theodore Kleen and Katherine (Frerichs) Kleen.
Her husband was born August 27, 1916 in Floyd and he died October 13, 1976
The daughter that died in infancy was: Kathleen Christina Kleen born and died July 23, 1947.
