RITES THURSDAY
AT LYLE CHURCHLYLE, MINNESOTA - Mrs. James T. (Anna Hansen) Mortenson, 85, died at her home here
Monday evening following a lingering illness.
Born October 10, 1873, at Cedar Falls, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hansen. The family moved to Lyle when she was an infant and she had lived here ever since.
She was married January 8, 1896.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lyle.
The Rev. G. Knutson, Austin, Minnesota will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, south of Mona. Worlien Funeral Home, Austin, is in charge. The body will lie in state at the church from 11 to the time of services.
Her husband preceded her in death eight weeks ago.
Surviving are two daughters, Amanda, at home; Mrs. L. G. (Katherine) Howard, and three sons, Jay, Orville and Lloyd, all of Lyle; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a half-brother, Robert Hansen and a half-sister, Mrs. Florence Neilson, both of Omaha.
