ST. ANSGAR, IOWA - Phyllis E. Kittleson, 85, of St. Ansgar, died Sunday, October 17, 2010, at the St. Ansgar Good Samaritan Society.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20, at First Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, with the Rev. Robert Porisch officiating. Burial will be in First Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, at Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, 207 S. School St., St. Ansgar, 641-713-4920.

#2:Phyllis E. Kittleson, 85, of St. Ansgar died Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Good Samaritan Center, St. Ansgar. Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 20, 1020 at First Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar with Rev. Robert Porisch officiating. Burial was in First Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar.
Phyllis E. Kittleson was born January 17, 1925 to Elmer and Martha Poschula Tollefson in Winneschiek County, Iowa. On October 7, 1955 she married Melvin (Bob) Kittleson in Decorah, Iowa. Together they ran Farmer's Produce for many years in St. Ansgar. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, and loved to raise flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Paul and granddaughter, Karyn Leeman.
Phyllis is survived by her children, Dale of St. Ansgar, David (Vicki) of St. Ansgar, Sherry (Mark) Ryan of Austin, Mn. and Shirley (Dale) Leeman of Clarksgrove, Mn.; three sisters Helen Ringham of Northwood, Lois (Don) Purcell of Arizona, and Mary Lou Ellingson of Decorah, IA; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
