Funeral services for Mrs. Ingvald Havskjold, 80, of Kremlin, Montana and formerly of St. Ansgar, who died May 19, 1954, were held at the First Lutheran church with the Rev. O.S. Langehough officiating.
Ceclia Gunderson Havskjold, the eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Gunderson, was born in Lyle July 22, 1874. She was baptized and confirmed by the Rev. Johan Olsen in the First Lutheran church in St. Ansgar.
When still a very small girl she moved with her parents to the John Gunderson homestead about four miles northwest of St. Ansgar. She attended the local school and was married to Ingvald Havskjold in December 1893. In 1905 she and her husband moved to Canada and in 1911 to Kremlin, Montana where she had since made her home. Her husband died in 1933 and since then she has made her home with her son, Knute in Kremlin. She was also preceded in death by a son, Carl in 1952 and by several infant children.
Mrs. Havskjold is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Inga Hansen of Conrad, Montana and Mrs. Jennie Muldren of Summers, Montana; two sons, Palmer of Choteau, Montana and Knute of Kremlin, Montana; also five brothers, Gus, Julius and Gilbert of Alberta, Canada, George of Osage and Knute of Clear Lake; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Groth and Mrs. Ella Larson of St. Ansgar and Mrs. Mary Gaaarder of Washington, D.C.; also 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Burial was in the First Lutheran cemetery with Rev. Langehough in charge of the committal services.
